The famous American Federal carved mahogany, rosewood and brass strung games table, the rotating and fold over top inset with gilt tooled tan leather playing surface, supported on a wheeled cannon base with fine brass mounts, the plinth as a turret with cannonball finials, lion legs and paw feet.

The original made and signed by Duncan Phyfe of New York, a Scottish emigre cabinet maker who became one of the city's most celebrated artisans of his time. The original circa 1815 sold at auction for $84.000.00
